One in Five Children, Adolescents and Youth is Out of School

Although the number of out-of-school children, adolescent and youth has decreased since 2000 it is still high in some regions. Youth (15-17 years old) are more likely being out-of-school. Female in lowest income countries have less access to Education. In 2016 one out five children in primary school age is still out-of-school.
